Burnout that rest doesn't touch
Burnout therapy for people who are used to being the one holding it all together.
If you’re here, some part of you already knows you’re running on empty — even if no one around you can tell. You’re still showing up, still delivering, still the person everyone counts on. That’s exactly the problem: you’ve gotten so good at holding it together that stepping back feels less like relief and more like letting people down. So you keep going. And quietly, you get further and further from yourself. I want you to know that makes complete sense — and that it doesn’t have to keep going this way.
Why "just rest" doesn't work
Everyone tells you to take care of yourself, and they’re not wrong — they’re just not enough. You can’t rest your way out of burnout when the thing burning you out is still there, and when so much of your identity is bound up in holding it all together. That’s the real work: not a longer vacation, but changing your relationship to the pressure itself — and to the belief that you’re only as valuable as what you produce.
How we work on it
You almost certainly don’t need to walk away from your life. You need to stop being consumed by it — a more precise problem, and a workable one. Drawing on CBT, DBT, and ACT, we do two things at once: build the practical tools to interrupt the cycle — sleep, focus, the 2am loop — and go underneath it, to what drove you here and what it would take to feel like yourself again. Evidence-based where it counts, and human throughout.
If this is where you are
You don’t have to be falling apart to deserve support, and you don’t have to walk in with it all figured out. Whatever you’re carrying, you don’t have to keep carrying it alone. When you’re ready, it starts with one quiet, private conversation — no pressure, no commitment.
