I help young adults in New York find steadier footing — navigating career, relationships, and identity in a world that’s louder, faster, and more uncertain than any generation has faced before.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) offering private, in-person therapy on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan, and online across New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut.

Much of my young-adult practice is people who recognize themselves in patterns like these:
Young adults today are asked to build a life in a landscape with almost no fixed reference points. The economy is uncertain and, in many ways, unprecedented. Careers no longer live only on LinkedIn — they live in your phone, where a whole professional life can be built, invented, or performed, and where it can feel like everyone but you has already figured it out. Relationships are chosen by a swipe or the crafting of a profile. And the people we love are always a tap away, which leaves us feeling more connected and more alone than ever at the same time.
It’s no surprise that young people are struggling with their mental health more than any generation before them. This is a world designed to capture your attention and, if you let it, to decide for you — what to want, who to be, what “enough” looks like. Without intention, those decisions get made by default. Much of our work is helping you reclaim that intention: to understand your own values clearly enough that you, not the noise around you, are the one choosing.
My work with young adults is values-based and grounded in practical, evidence-based tools, including CBT and DBT. Together we cut through the noise to understand what’s driving the anxiety, the indecision, or the sense of being stuck — and to get clear on what you genuinely want, rather than what you’ve absorbed from everyone else. I’ll say plainly what I’m noticing, because at a moment when so much is pulling for your attention, having one honest, steady space to think can change everything.
This work is for young adults ready to understand themselves more clearly and move through this chapter with intention rather than drift. Much of my practice is ambitious, high-achieving, and sometimes high-profile young people who need a genuinely private place to sort out who they are and where they’re going. If that’s where you are, we’ll likely be a good fit.

Absolutely — this is one of the most common reasons young adults come in. You don’t need a diagnosis or a crisis to benefit; feeling stuck, uncertain, or quietly behind is reason enough. Often the sense of being “behind” isn’t about your actual life at all, but about measuring yourself against a stream of curated images and expectations. Therapy is a place to step out of that comparison and get clear on what you actually want.
In a sense, yes — this generation is navigating genuinely unprecedented pressures, and a lot of anxiety is an understandable response to them. But “common” doesn’t mean you have to carry it alone or wait for it to pass. What matters isn’t whether the anxiety is normal; it’s whether it’s running your decisions and quietly shaping your life. Therapy helps you understand it and relate to it differently, so it stops steering from the background.
This is some of the most valuable work we can do together. So much of modern life is designed to decide for you — what to want, who to be, what success should look like — and without intention, those defaults quietly take over. Together we work to clarify your own values, apart from the noise, so that your choices about career, relationships, and direction actually belong to you.
Both — because for young adults, they’re rarely separate. Questions about what to do with your life, who you are, and how you feel are deeply intertwined, and I treat them that way. Whether you’re paralyzed by a decision, questioning a path you thought you wanted, or just trying to figure out who you are underneath everyone’s expectations, that’s very much part of the work.
That’s completely okay, and more common than you’d think. You don’t need to arrive with the right words or a clear agenda; you just need to show up. Part of my role is to help you make sense of what you’re feeling, even when it’s tangled or hard to name. We’ll start wherever you are — no preparation required.
Consultations are held privately and by inquiry.
